Latinas Acting Up advances the visibility and careers of Latinas and identifying creatives across the screen, stage, and media—through advocacy, mentorship, and a powerful network of support.
From Emmy-winning actresses to emerging writers, our members are shaping culture, rewriting narratives, and demanding space in rooms that weren’t built for us. Whether it’s pushing for fair pay, mentoring the next generation, or leading productions that reflect our stories, LAU is proof that collective power creates real change.
Together, we’re not just building careers—we’re building an industry where Latinas belong.
Every moment of action is a step toward equity, visibility, and transformation—for us, and for those coming next.

By pushing for representation in writers’ rooms, producing panels that amplify new voices, and nurturing the next generation of leaders, LAU is building a future where our stories are seen, heard, and valued.

From Emmy-winning actresses to emerging writers, our members are shaping culture, rewriting
narratives, and claiming our creative space in rooms that have historically denied opportunity. Whether

Together, we’re not just building careers— we’re standing in solidarity rebuilding an industry where
